My work is evolving, the recent canvases are more impressionistic, abstract and free. I am moving from figurative to landscape and sometimes mixing the two together.
The process starts with acrylic and finishes with oil, layering through to catch subtle changes in light.
Andalusia influences my paintings I am influenced both by the power of the mountains and the sea, the ever-changing light, shape and colour. Often the figures are solitary, reflecting our inner spiritual nature, silence and mystery.
